When life feels full, it's hard to think straight

If you're caring for others, working, and trying to keep everything moving — it makes sense that you're tired. A lot of people are juggling long days, shifting routines, cost pressure, and very little quiet.

Reflect Renew Counselling is a good fit if you're:

  • A carer supporting a partner, child, or family member
  • Functioning on the outside, but stretched thin underneath
  • Ready for support that feels practical, calm, and respectful

Deborah works with clients Australia-wide and is a Master of Counselling qualified counsellor and ACA member — so you're in experienced, ethical hands.

If you're not sure whether counselling is for you, that's completely okay. The free Fit Call is designed for exactly that.

How we can help

You don't need the "perfect" words to start. Working collaboratively, we draw on evidence-based approaches (ACT, CBT) to work with what you're bringing — at a pace that suits you.

Some common reasons people book are:

  • Grief
  • Caring responsibilities
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Life transitions

How it works

1

Choose your starting point

Start with a free 15-minute Fit Call (low pressure), or book a Standard Session if you already feel ready.

2

Meet online — in a calm, focussed place

Sessions are online, so you can talk from home or anywhere private. You're not expected to have it all figured out.

3

Leave with a clearer next step

Sessions are person-centred and practical. Where helpful, you'll identify strategies you can use straight away.

Ways to work together

Free 15-Minute Fit Call

Free

This complimentary 15-minute video call is a chance to see whether working together feels right. You can briefly share what's bringing you to counselling, ask questions about how sessions work, and get a sense of the approach. There's no pressure and no obligation to book. It's simply about clarity, comfort, and next steps.

Standard Session

60 min · $140

Each session is about understanding where you are right now and what matters most. We'll explore what's been happening, clarify your goals, and build practical strategies you can use in everyday life. The pace is collaborative and respectful — steady, grounded and tailored to you.

Check In Session

25 min · $80

Designed for existing clients, check-ins offer focused support between full sessions. These shorter appointments are ideal for decision-making, navigating a specific challenge, or maintaining momentum. They provide space to recalibrate and reinforce what's working.

Why Reflect Renew Counselling

A calm, grounded approach

Deborah works in a trauma-informed, person-centred way — meaning we focus on safety, respect, and going at your pace. You set what you share and when.

Practical and collaborative

Sessions are a supportive space to make sense of what's happening and identify realistic strategies for real life — not theory, but tools you can use.

Professional support you can trust

Deborah holds a Master of Counselling (University of Canberra) and a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Swinburne). She's an Australian Counselling Association (ACA) member with a commitment to ongoing professional development — so you know you're with someone qualified and accountable.

Approaches used (as appropriate)

Person-centred counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) — matched to what helps you most.

Not sure where to start?

If you're hesitating, you're not alone. Many people reach out after they've been holding it together for a long time — people in caring roles especially, who often put everyone else first — and often wish they'd reached out sooner. You don't have to wait until things are "bad enough". You can start with a conversation.

The free Fit Call is there for exactly that: to ask questions, feel out the fit, and decide what — if anything — makes sense next.
