Real-life support for what builds up quietly

You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from counselling. Often it's about having space to talk honestly, think clearly, and choose what happens next — especially when you're caring for others. Working collaboratively, we draw on person-centred, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and culturally sensitive approaches to work with what you're bringing.

Common focus areas include:

  • Grief
  • Caring responsibilities (carers and people receiving care)
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Life transitions

If you are in a caring role, Deborah brings firsthand experience to that work. Learn more about counselling support for carers →

What to expect

Counselling with Deborah is calm, practical and paced to suit you. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. You lead the direction; Deborah provides the support.

Evidence-based approaches

Deborah's primary approaches are person-centred counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Culturally Sensitive Practice — used as a flexible toolkit, not a rigid formula. CBT is also available where it fits.
